Plum is a television network that focuses on resort communities to target a highly affluent demographic. Our stations are located in Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, The Hamptons, Sun Valley, and Miami Beach. Our CEO and founder is Tom Scott, former CEO of Nantucket Nectars. Investors include Robert Pittman (AOL), Jimmy Buffet, Robert Kraft (Kraft Group), Kate Spade, and several other big names.
We are currently looking for hard working and talented individuals to work in Telluride during the Winter season. We have two internship opportunities available in the fields of media production and marketing. Both positions offer hands on experience in the field. The production internship requires editing, shooting, field production, and studio production skills. The marketing internship has less requirements, but we're looking for someone who is a self starter with good communication skills.
Both internships include a base pay, a free season ski pass (Value: $1,500), and housing/utilities (Aprox Value: $700/month). Internships will start in November and run through April. This is a great opportunity for a recent 2007 graduate who is looking for an opportunity to get started in the business. Plum is a rapidly growing company and we hire directly out of our intern program. We are projecting a growth of 25 stations by the year 2011 so there is plenty of opportunity for good people.
